Matters Arising

Cllr Warne reported on the meeting at St Mellion about affordable homes possibly to be built in the Parish.

The Council resolved to host a meeting in the Village Hall in order to carry out a survey regarding the need for affordable homes for the residents of Pillaton.

The Council had no comments on the Housing Needs Survey based on the Cornwall Council format. It was decided that the Survey form would be publicised on the web site and via the Village News.

Finger Posts

The Council decided to seek the cost of repairing the sign post at Polborder before deciding upon which signs to repair. The Clerk was also asked to enquire into the amount paid by St Mellion for similar work.

Planning Permission

None.

Finance

The following payments were approved; Clerks annual salary £720 and HMRC £180.

Any Other Business

A letter had been received complaining about the mud on the road at the bottom of the Village. The Council noted that they had no authority over such issues and would respond suggesting the author complain via Cornwall Council web site.

County Councillor D. Pugh promised to find out the cost of digging up a public road to assist in preventing water damage to the Hall.
